own custom sheet metal fabrication. The benefit to you
will be a precise fit on your custom flashings, which will
result in a more watertight system. (Translation: No Leaks)
These
pictures are a replacement of a metal ornamental ledge on a
historically significant Savannah building. You can
tell by the pictures that not only had the metal ledge
deteriorated, but the wood that supported the ledge had to
be replaced as well. We erected scaffold up to the
fourth floor to gain access to the ledge. We suggested
16 oz. copper be used to fabricate the new ledge.
As
you can see in the pictures, the results were magnificent.
An additional benefit of using copper for the new ledge is
it will be almost maintenance free for the next 50-75 years.
